The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign is synonymous with the holiday season and serves as a reminder to everyone shopping for presents to give back to those in need. Since beginning in San Francisco in 1891 to feed the area’s poor during the holidays, these iconic red kettles have helped The Salvation Army serve millions. Last year, over $149 million was donated by individuals across the country to support more than 30 million people worldwide.
This year, as part of our continued efforts to give back to the communities we serve, Dr Pepper Snapple Group is contributing to the cause. Through the end of the year, we are donating 10 cents to The Salvation Army for every specially marked 7UP, Canada Dry, and Squirt 2-liter bottle, 20-oz. bottle, and 12-pack sold.
